All are welcome to play lawn games at the Village Green, visit the HyArts Artist Shanties at the Harbor Overlook and at Bismore Park and contribute to the Community Art Wall at the Hyannis Public Library. The Hyannis Film Festivalwill pay tribute to all things Hyannis with a Patriotic twist. Performances on the Bandstand will include the Cape Cod Ukulele Club (5:00 PM) and the Cape Cod Moonlighters (6:30 PM). The Yarmouth Minutemen will re-enact a 1774 encampment with interactive educational activities, finishing the day with a sunset military muster at 7:55 PM. Giant puppets and other roaming entertainers will delight residents and visitors alike as they stroll around the Village Green, and up through the Harbor Overlook. The public is invited to register to win a prize by showing off the most patriotic style.

If you are a boater and want to participate, the boats assemble off of Hyannis Yacht Club and head to the inner harbor to show off their red, white and blue at approximately 4:30 PM. Boats will circle the inner harbor and show off their civic pride to the many hundreds of spectators that gather each year along the waterfront at Bismore Park. Boat owners can decorate their watercraft and report to the dock master at Hyannis Marina and register. HYANNIS HARBOR BOAT PARADE - The public is invited to participate in this annual event. Participants will be able to meet Cape Cod Baseball League players, get their faces painted, and are showered with candy from the candy cannon. There, hot dogs, ice cream, and water will be served. A Centerville-Osterville-Marstons Mills Fire Truck and Scout Troop 54 Color Guard will lead those walking, riding decorated bicycles, pulling floats, and being pushed in strollers to proceed onto Bumps River Road, Park Avenue, then Main Street, ending at the Centerville Recreation Center rear parking lot. Spectators can move from there to the mile-long span of live music and dancing representing the community of cultures that founded Our Nation and exists here today.īARNSTABLE-WEST BARNSTABLE – Patriotic themed floats parade through Barnstable Village with youth activities after at the Hollow playground area.ĬENTERVILLE – At 10:30 AM, after raising the flag, the pledge of allegiance, and singing “America the Beautiful” the parade will kick off from Centerville Elementary School. The event starts at Hyannis Harbor with a Boat Parade at 4:30 PM. In celebration of diversity through the international language of music and dance, dozens of local musicians and professional dance instructors will be on hand to invite the public to join as they dance in the streets of Hyannis.
